Hamburger Potato Casserole



5 Potatoes

1 lb. Lean Hamburger

2 strips Bacon, diced

1 can Cream of Mushroom soup

1 can Evaporated Milk

1                           Onion, Chopped

3 cloves Garlic, Chopped

1/3 lb. Cheddar Cheese, Medium, Shredded

AR Salt and Pepper

AR French Fried Onions or Jalapenos Topper (optional)



1)     Peel, slice and boil potatoes, al dente

2)     In a large skillet, get the sauce going:

a.      Fry bacon until mostly done,

b.      Add hamburger, cook until about done,

c.      Add onion and garlic until onions are mostly translucent,

d.      Add soup, milk. Salt and pepper to taste.

3)     Layer potatoes, cheese, and sauce into greased casserole dish and top with cheese.

4)     Bake, 350, 20 min.

5)     Add topper if desired, bake 10 more min.
